Anti-bullying Workshop

Bullying can happen to any child at any time in their lives. They can be targeted for any reason, though often it is because they are ‘different’ in some way. This can include anything from the way they look, such as their hair colour, their height or a perceived disability, to their family situation, such as a divorce or living in poverty, to wider discrimination on the grounds of their race or culture, skin colour or perceived sexuality or gender.

Whatever the reason, bullying is never acceptable.

Of course, bullying doesn’t end at the school gate. The ‘always on’ world means digital technologies and communications can be used to bully a child 24/7, through messages or actions which make them feel anxious, threatened or humiliated. This can include sharing images or information to make fun of a child and humiliate them, pressurising them to do something they do not want to do, and using false identities to trick them or pose as them.

Our Anti-bullying workshop is delivered by experienced B2A staff who sensitively respond to the issues. Download our Packages & Costs Information Leaflet. Our workshop includes:

  • Dealing with anger and frustration

  • Assertiveness

  • Saying ‘No’

  • Celebrating differences

  • Promoting friendships

  • Recognising emotions
